In brief this does not represent confirmation that the purchase has been made. We will confirm acceptance of the order by email when the order is dispatched.

    Delivery Costs and Dispatch Dates
  • Dispatch date and delivery date as shown on our website. Our estimated dispatch date is based on using an Express Delivery Method such asRoyal Mail Special Delivery or Interlink Express. If a non-express delivery method is chosen, dispatch may be delayed by 1 or 2 days depending on how busy we are. Delivery Dates as shown on our website are estimates only, while we will do our best to fulfill these dates, this is not always possible. We always prioritize picking for orders placed by Royal Mail Special Delivery or Express Courier.
  • Details of our current delivery costs and schedules can be foundhere. Delivery schedules and delivery days are given as an estimate only and are not binding.
  • If delivery to your delivery address requires extra information, please provide this in the questions and comments box in the final page of the checkout process. You will need to provide this information on EVERY order. This might be a time restriction, extra instuctions for the couriers or instructions to leave the delivery with a neighbour.
  • Non delivery. Where you do not receive your order within the expected timescale it isyour responsibility to contact us within 15(UK) days, or 28days(Non -UK Orders) via letter, phone or email. We will do our utmost to trace your package and to ensure you receive delivery of the original package or a replacement package. If you do not contact us within the expected delivery period we will assume that you have received your order and will not be liable to provide a refund or replacement.



    Returns and Guarantee

  • Incorrect orders, where we have sent you an incorrect item please contact us within 7 days by letter, phone or email. You will be expected to return the incorrect item to us, we will replace the item with the item ordered and refund the cost of return postage.

  • For UK and European customers, you have a right to cancel your order under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. You can cancel your order up to 7 days after receiving your order by informing us by letter, email or phone. It is your responsibility to return the goods to us in original condition. On receipt of the goods we will issue a full refund.

  • In addition to this we offer a 14 day (from receipt of goods) no quibble returns policy, simply return the unwanted item to us in original condition and we will refund the value of the item less delivery costs.

  • Where items are returned to us as undelivered we will refund the value of the goods less delivery costs.

  • This does not affect your statutory rights.


    Security and Credit Cards

  • All credit card details are securely transmitted using 128bit encryption.

  • Your transaction will appear as One Nil Trade on your statement.

  • We reserve the right to ask for additional identification before we despatch your order.

  • Where you have requested delivery to an address other than the billing address of the card we may also require additional identification and a signed declaration authorising us to use the alternative address.

  • Please ensure that you give us thecorrect billing address for your card as your order may be delayed or cancelled if we do not have this information.

  • Where you are unable or unwilling to provide additional identification or we have to cancell your order due to incorrect information being provided we will issue a refund for the total amount of your order minus an administration fee equivalentto thecost of delivery. This administration fee covers the cost of carrying out security checks as well as credit card commision charges.


    Privacy Policy

  • We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).

  • We will not contact you in the future unless you have given us your consent except in response to contact from you or to be able to process your order effectively.

  • The information we hold about you is only that required to fulfil your order and to offer you a high level of customer service. This information includes your name, address, phone, email and order details.

  • We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.
    We will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that the information we hold will be accurate and up to date, however we are not liable for inaccuracies or any of their subsequent results. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

  • The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.

  • We only send marketing emails to our customers, or those who have specifically asked to be added to our mailing list and only when you have given us permission to do so.
  • We will only pass your details to third parties where you have given explicit permision for us to do this.
  • We use cookies on this site to enable the shopping cart to work and to track marketing information. No personal information is ever stored in a cookie.

    Packaging

  • We only use plain packaging. No identifiable markings or Logos will be placed on your packaging in order to insure your total discretion and satisfaction.

     

    Euro and Dollar pricing.

  • Prices in Euros or Dollars on Blushingbuyer are for guidence only. You will be charged in £GBP and this amount will be converted to your payment currency by your credit card company or bank. We make all efforts to ensure that any Euro or dollar prices on our site are as accurate as possible but cannot be held responsible if they differ slightly from the amount you actually pay.

 

International Shipping. (Out of the EU)

  • Customs and Duty charges. You will be responsible for any duty, customs and other fees associated with importing goods into your country. If an order is returned to us due to non-payment of these duties we will only refund for the value of the goods, less our costs, which are likely to be very substantial due to return costs of our couriers. In all likelyhood, no refund will be paid.
  • Customs Declarations. It is illegal for us to enter an incorrect figure on invoices when describing goods, please do not ask us to do this as we will not. We also have to put a description of your goods on the customs declaration, this must be accurate so may cause embarrasment. If a product is illegal in your country and is returned to us we will only refund the costs of the goods less our costs which are likely to be substantial due to return costs of our couriers. In all likelyhood, no refund will be paid.

 

WEEE Regulations

WEEE Regulations as Applicable to blushingbuyer.co.uk

Distributors of new Electric and Electronic Equipment (EEE) have a part to play in reducing the amount of WEEE going into landfill sites.

Blushingbuyer.co.uk is obliged under these regulations to offer our customers a take back service of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when they buy a new Electrical or Electronic product from us.

Customers must return their WEEE item to us within 28 days of purchasing their new item.

31. As a retailer who supplies new EEE to any person we shall ensure that WEEE from private
households can be returned to us on a one-to-one basis by that person, provided that any such WEEE-

(a) is of equivalent type to, and
(b) has fulfilled the same function as, the supplied equipment.

33.

· Much of the UK’s WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it contains can cause
soil and water contamination. This can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also
human health.

· Many electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled. Recycling items helps to
save our natural finite resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated
with sending electrical goods to landfill.

Under the WEEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should now be marked with the crossed-out
wheeled bin symbol which looks like a wheelie bin with a cross through it. To see this image please search online for 'WEEE Symbol'

Record keeping

34.-(1) As a retailer to whom the obligation in regulation 31 applies we shall maintain records of
the number of units of WEEE from private households returned to us under that regulation.
(2) A retailer who returns WEEE from private households under regulation 32 shall maintain records of the number of units of WEEE from private households returned by him under that regulation.
(3) Each retailer to whom the obligation in regulation 33 applies shall maintain records of the information made available under that regulation. 25
(4) The records referred to in this regulation shall be kept for a period of at least four years
commencing on the date on which any such record is made and shall be made available to the
Secretary of State on demand.

The requirements of regulation 31 (to "ensure that WEEE from private households can be returned on a one-to-one basis") and regulation 34(1) (maintenance of records).
